Volunteers play an important role at both our Kelowna and West Kelowna locations. Getting involved is easy.
The Central Okanagan Community Food Bank is a volunteer driven organization. Simply put, we would not exist without the hard work, commitment and dedication of our volunteers! We wish to thank those who contribute their time through volunteering, fundraising and food collection throughout the year. It’s through such contributions from the public that we are able to ensure food reaches those who need it most.
Every year, the Central Okanagan Community Food Bank relies on approximately 150 volunteers, contributing more than 25,000 hours.

Both our locations have a variety of volunteer opportunities available, including parking attendants, perishable and non-perishable food sorters, admin support, events, and client support team members.
